A – A Destination Wedding is when a couple decide to tie the knot far away from their home in an exotic location free of the hassels, and work of a traditional catered event. They can choose from any sunny beach location or old world landscape and invite friends and family to celebrate and enjoy the time away together.
Q – Why do couples choose to have a destination wedding?
A – It’s truly one stop shopping. You choose from one of the resorts we recommend, personally select menus, flowers, ceremony locations, and photographers with the help of your planner. You can even combine the wedding with an extended honeymoon. A destination wedding is the perfect way to spend time with family and friends together as they celebrate with you at the location of your choosing.
Q – Are Destinaiton weddings more expensive then a local weddings?
A – Much Less! At least 50% less then planning a local event in their hometown. The ease of having everything included at an all inclusive resort: food, drinks and gratuitites makes a destinaiton wedding an easy and affordable choice. A city wedding can start at 20,000 for a simple affair and go way up from there.
Q – How far in advance should you start planning a destinaiton wedding?
A – Couples can begin their research approximately 8-10 months in advance. We can begin the booking process within this period. We are also able to do last minute weddings if necessary but be advised that you may not get your first choice of hotel at that time.
Booking in advance helps with the price of travel and wedding date flexability. Many suppliers offer reduced pricing and incentives for early bookings. It also allows couples time to organize a guest list and provides your guests plenty of advanced notice to properly schedule their vacation time so that they can join in your wedding party.
Q- How do I choose a destination wedding location?
A – This is our expertise. We have visited hundreds of resorts and have established good working relationships with the on site wedding teams. We can recomend resorts that are perfect for your needs. Our profesonal insight will also find you resorts that fit your budgets for you and your guests. Our services include a complimentary consultation in person, phone or email depending on your location or requirements.
Q – How much does a destinaiton wedding cost each guest?
A – We work with each guest to customize their individual interary and budget to correspond with your wedding plans. Our extensive supplier relationships allow for flexible stay periods designed to accommodate each guest. Our goal is to exceed your guests expectations with the best possible options to join in your wedding away.
Q – Do I require a wedding coordinator at my wedding location?
A – Yes, your personal wedding coordinator will work hard to ensure your details are exactly what we put together. They help with menus, flowers, and ceremony locations, etc. once you arrive. Once you are there you will tour the property with them to ensure everything is what you expected. We act as a liaison between you and your resort to ensure that all wedding details are covered before you depart.
Q – Why do you require a deposit?
A – The deposit goes to hold your space at the hotel. Upon completion of booking your wedding, the deposit is used towards your final balance.
Q – How much do you charge for your services?
A – Our destination wedding consultant services are based on our level of involvement. We have three great packages for the minimalist, the deamer and the lavish. All of our services include: Dedicated travel specialist from the start to the return from your wedding, destination and resort consultation, to find the perfect resort for you. Wedding date confirmation with the resort of your choice, best possible pricing and assistance for you and your guests travel plans, continued support until the completion of your travel plans.
